Base Camp: Catskills, NY
May 19th-24th, 2024
Over the past two years, we’ve been hosting intimate creative gatherings with the mission of helping shape a better internet. 🏕️
For our latest event, we spent 5 days in Upstate New York with an incredible group of filmmakers, animators, photographers, and entrepreneurs.

This Event’s Theme: “Sustaining Your Creativity”
What does this mean?
We've all faced those moments of creative exhaustion or burnout. Sustaining your creativity and building with longevity means going forward in the face of challenges and having frameworks in place for you to feel intermittently inspired.
Why have a theme?
After hosting several retreats without a grounding theme, we realized that having a central intention to unify the community makes our experience together much more purposeful. With the kickoff of our 2024 season, we want to keep exploring the different themes we all live & create by!
How did it influence the week?
Most of the workshops creators hosted throughout the week had some connection to our overarching theme. It allowed everyone to share their own interpretation of this concept - from breaking down their editing flow to narrating their journey to monetization.
A Special Thanks To Our Partners:
Moments from our “Worldbuilding Workshop w/ Patreon”
Our newest year-long partner, Patreon, aims to give creators the platform, support, and inspiration to build out their creative futures sustainably. Inspired by Patreon’s mission and visionary storytellers across history (ex: Walt Disney, Hayao Miyazaki) - we prompted ourselves to mind map our “dream futures,” discuss the challenges we’re currently facing in getting there, and see where we could help each other. A truly magical session.
A Special Thanks To Our Partners:
Creator Camp also teamed up with Notion to power this Base Camp experience.
For the past year, we’ve used Notion to build out all the logistics, workshops, and cohort profiles for each event. Whether it’s to build our businesses, creative projects, or personal lives, so much of the Camp community uses Notion as one of their main productivity tools. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We hosted an interactive Notion workshop where attendees discussed how they uniquely organize their businesses and media projects on Notion!
